Versions of these come up whenever we talk to private music teachers. No names — just the things we hear again and again.

"I'm competing with a music school that has a receptionist and a marketing budget. It's just me."
— What we hear from piano/guitar teachers with home studios
Your site is the receptionist.Rates, schedule, recital videos, and a contact form parents actually use — answering questions while you're mid-lesson.
"My rate sheet is a PDF I text to parents. I put it in a PDF because I broke the pricing page twice."
— What we hear from teachers on DIY builders
A rates page you can't break.Email us the new rates. We change the page, you approve a preview, it goes live. No PDF, nothing for you to log into.
"Search 'piano lessons' plus my neighborhood and it's the big school, then three directories. I'm nowhere."
— What we hear from teachers relying on word of mouth
Parents find you locally. The site is built around the searches parents actually type — your instruments, your neighborhood — so you're in the running for them.
"My site still shows a recital video from 2022 and last fall's enrollment dates. I know. I never get to it."
— What we hear from teachers with twice-a-year recitals
Seasonal updates by email.Fall enrollment opens, recital dates land, a new video comes in — email us and it's handled. That's the whole system.

Everything is included. Yes, everything.

A note on being found locally. Most new-student inquiries start with a parent typing "piano lessons in [your neighborhood]" into their phone. Right now that search probably shows the big music school and a few directories. We build the site to compete for exactly that search — your instruments and your neighborhood, written into the pages that matter, with the technical basics done right. We won't promise you a ranking (nobody honestly can), but we build the foundations that give a one-teacher studio a real shot at showing up.

How updates work

1 small update per month, included. New rates, fall enrollment dates, this year's recital date, the new recital video, a schedule change, a photo swap. The seasonal stuff that always slips.

You see a preview before anything goes live. Email us what you want changed. We make the change on a staging URL, send you a preview link, you hit Approve. Then it ships. You don't have to learn anything.

Bigger work (new page, big rewrite, brand refresh) we quote as a one-time project, or bump to Plus ($99/mo) for 4 updates/mo and new pages included.

For comparison: what the DIY builders charge

Published / typical prices, 2026. The builders are cheaper on paper — if you build, update, and fix the site yourself.

Full breakdown of the real costs — builder plans, designers, and the hours nobody counts — in what a music teacher's website actually costs.

How we deliver this much for so little.

Streamlined processes and modern tools — not a marketing agency with overhead. One studio, tight scope, no meetings you don't need.

01

Tight scope, fast onboarding

A web form walks you through one question at a time — your instruments, rates, studio policies, recital videos, a photo or two. 30–45 minutes total. We start building the next day.

02

Two rounds, then launch

The first pass is genuinely clean because we got the specifics upfront. Two structured rounds of feedback. Most sites launch 2–3 weeks after sign-up — in time for fall enrollment if you start now.

03

Preview before it goes live

New rates? Fall enrollment open? A recital video to add? Email us. We make the change on a staging URL, send a preview, you hit Approve. It ships. You never touch the site's plumbing.

Questions we get a lot.

What does it cost, and what's actually included?

$59/mo, everything included: design, build, hosting, domain, local search setup, rates page, recital video embeds, a contact form, and one small update per month. Setup is $0 and there's no contract. That's the whole price — no "premium feature" upcharges later. If you want to see how that stacks up against builders and designers, we wrote up what a music teacher's website actually costs.

Bandzoogle is $20/mo and made for musicians. Why pay more?

Bandzoogle is made for bands — merch tables, tour dates, EPKs, mailing lists for fans. You're not a band. You're a teacher filling a fall roster, and the site you need is a rates page, a lessons page, recital videos, and a form parents will actually fill out. Different job. Also: on Bandzoogle, building and updating the site is still your job. Here it's ours. We compared the options honestly in Bandzoogle vs. Squarespace for music teachers.

How do updates work?

Email us what changed — new rates, fall enrollment dates, recital date, a new video. We make the change on a staging URL, send you a preview link, you hit Approve, it ships. One small update per month is included; that covers almost everything a studio needs in practice. Bigger work (a new page, a big rewrite) we quote as a one-time project, or bump to Plus ($99/mo) for 4 updates/mo.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Month-to-month, no contract, no cancellation fee. Your domain is yours, and if you leave we hand over your content and point the domain wherever you want. We'd rather earn the next month than lock you into it.

Can you move my Bandzoogle / Weebly / Wix content over?

Yes — migration is included. Text, photos, video links, and your rate information come over; we rewrite and reorganize as part of the build rather than copying the old site wart-for-wart. If all you have is a Facebook page, that works too — we've started from less.

How fast can it be live?

Most sites launch 2–3 weeks after sign-up. The onboarding form takes you 30–45 minutes, the first pass lands in your inbox 7–10 days later, then two rounds of feedback and we ship. If fall enrollment is the deadline, say so in the form and we'll work backward from it.

Get started.

Tell us about your studio. We'll reply within 24 hours with next steps — usually a short call and a link to our onboarding form.
