Design, build, hosting, a rates page that's actually current, a contact form parents use, ongoing updates — all in one monthly fee. Built for the tutor running her own business. Math, test prep, writing, any subject.

— What we hear from tutors who started a DIY Wix site
We finish it.From sign-up to live in 2–3 weeks. Your Sundays go back to being Sundays.
"Parents Google me before they text me. Right now they find a bare Instagram and a Wix URL with ads on it."

A note on student privacy. Your website is your front door, not your student roster. The contact form collects only the basics — parent's name, email, student's grade level, what they need help with. We never publish student names, photos, or results without your explicit say-so, and nothing about your students is stored on the site. Scheduling and student records stay in whatever you already use; the site just gets the right parents to reach out.

How updates work

1 small update per month, included. Raise your rates, add a subject, post your fall availability, swap your photo, update your credentials. The things that come up.

You see a preview before anything goes live. Email us what you want changed. We make the change on a staging URL, send you a preview link, you hit Approve. Then it ships.

Bigger work (new page, big rewrite, brand refresh) we quote as a one-time project, or bump to Plus ($99/mo) for 4 updates/mo and new pages included.

We wrote up the full math in what a tutoring website actually costs and compared the DIY builders head-to-head in Wix vs Squarespace for tutors.

How we deliver this much for so little.

Streamlined processes and modern tools — not a marketing agency with overhead.

01

Tight scope, fast onboarding

A web form walks you through one question at a time — your subjects, rates, teaching background, availability, headshot. 30–45 minutes total. We start building the next day. (Wondering what belongs on the site? Our tutor website checklist is the same list we build from.)

02

Two rounds, then launch

The first pass is genuinely clean because we got the specifics upfront. Two structured rounds of feedback. Most sites launch 2–3 weeks after sign-up — in time for enrollment season if you don't wait until the last week of August.

03

Preview before it goes live

New rates? Fall availability? Different headshot? Email us. We make the change on a staging URL, send a preview, you hit Approve. It ships. You don't have to learn anything.

Questions we get a lot.

What does it cost, and what's actually included?

$59/month, all in: design, build, hosting, domain, a rates page, a subjects page, a credentials page, a contact form, local SEO basics, and 1 small update per month. No setup fee, no contract, cancel anytime. There is no "and then" — the number on this page is the number. If you want to see how that compares to piecing it together yourself, we did the math in what a tutoring website actually costs.

I already have a Wix site. Why would I pay more than $17/mo?

Fair question — it's the right one to ask. Here's the honest answer: the $17 buys you the tool, not the website. If your Wix site has been "almost done" for a year, the missing ingredient isn't a better plan tier — it's someone whose job is to finish it and keep it current. We migrate what's worth keeping from your Wix site, finish the rest, and from then on updates are an email, not a Sunday. (If DIY genuinely fits you, our Wix vs Squarespace comparison will help you pick — no hard feelings.)

How do updates work? Do I have to log into anything?

No logins, ever. Email us what changed — "I'm $85/hr starting September," "add chemistry," "I'm full for fall, open a waitlist note." We make the change on a staging URL, send you a preview link, you reply Approve, it goes live. One small update per month is included; we respond within 48 hours.

Is there a contract? What if I want to cancel?

Month-to-month, cancel anytime, no cancellation fee. Your content — your copy, your photos, your domain if you brought one — is yours, and we'll hand it over cleanly if you leave. We'd rather earn month 14 than lock you into it.

I change my rates and availability every school year. Do you handle that?

Yes — that's exactly what the monthly update is for. Rate changes, fall availability, new subjects, waitlist notes, summer-intensive announcements. Email it to us and approve the preview. Your site stops being the thing that still shows last year's prices.

How fast can I be live? September is coming.

Most sites launch 2–3 weeks after sign-up: onboarding form (30–45 minutes of your time), first pass in your inbox in 7–10 days, two rounds of feedback, live. If enrollment season is your deadline, say so in the form below and we'll plan the build around it. Not sure what pages you need? Start with the tutor website checklist.
